This year is expected to see significant growth in the new energy vehicle industry as product quality plays an increasingly important role in market competition, while the central government is cutting subsidies on new-energy vehicles.

As customers pay more attention to the appearance of new energy vehicles, the Roewe ERX5 adopts a new design style to combine elegant and luxurious features.

The sedan’s 85kW-electric engine, Electronic Differential System (EDS) and maximum torque of 255 Nms, combine to create a green driving experience.

Besides, the 10.4-inch touchscreen, 12.3-inch full LCD virtual instrument panel, electric parking system, independent air purifier, panoramic sunroof, Lane Departure Warning (LDW), Forward-collision Warning (FCW) and leather seats, bring the ease and comfort of higher-specification vehicles to this SUV.

The Roewe ERX5 is available in three different packages, with the price ranging from 198,800 ($29,375) to 223,800 yuan, after the new energy vehicle subsidy has been applied. It also qualifies for incentives such as free license plates and is not subject to driving restrictions.

Another feature of the new model is the extremely low running costs. It only costs users around 5 yuan each day to run, and is free from traffic control and purchase limitations. Also, SAIC Motor offers free charging piles to help customers charge their cars at home.

SAIC Motor’s quality products and services have helped the company win new converts to its ecofriendly vehicles. The Roewe ERX5 aims to become the top choice for electric car fans and drive development of China’s new energy industry, with its new technologies, high quality products and low prices.
